I'm currently on a work trip with my girlfriend, who is working remotely with just her laptop. At home, she usually has a second monitor, but right now she's struggling with the small screen. I'd like to know if I can use my laptop as a second screen for hers while we're away.

You could also try using a program like LetsView. It allows screen sharing across different platforms like Windows, Mac, and even mobile devices! It's pretty easy to set up too.

Absolutely! You'll need both laptops on the same Wi-Fi network. Then, on her laptop, go to Settings > System > Projecting to this PC to enable it. After that, on her laptop, just hit the Windows Key + P, select 'Connect to a wireless display,' and choose your laptop from the list. Just keep in mind that a strong Wi-Fi connection is crucial for smooth performance!

This is spot on! Just make sure the Wi-Fi is decent, or you might run into some lag, especially in cafes or hotels.

Another tip: If you’re using a public Wi-Fi that restricts devices from communicating, you might want to use an Ethernet cable between the two laptops for a more stable connection after the initial setup.
