Can I Use My Old PSU Cable for a New GPU?

I just upgraded my graphics card from a 3060 Ti to a 5060 Ti, but I realized that the old GPU had a 16-pin PCIe connector, while the new one only uses an 8-pin. Can I use an 8-pin connector from the same cable that I used for my previous GPU, or do I need to switch it out? Also, I found a 12-pin to 8-pin adapter in the box of my old GPU. Is it safe to use that adapter with my new card?

You can just use the single 8-pin connector if that's all your new card needs. It should fit perfectly fine without any issues.

Yep, just plug in the 8-pin connector directly. The 5060 Ti will work with that connection, so no need to change the cable.
