My glass side panel broke suddenly while I was reassembling my PC after adding new fans, and now I'm stuck without a case. Is it safe to run my computer without the side panel, or should I avoid doing that for some reason?

Running your PC like that should be okay. Just keep the interior clean and maybe think about covering the exposed area with some mesh or something to keep the dust down.
It's generally fine to use your PC without the side panel, but just make sure nothing can accidentally fall inside. If you have pets, that could be a concern. You might want to look into getting a replacement panel later on. Also, posting a pic might help see if there’s anything else to consider.
If you're handy, grab a lexan sheet from a local store and make a new panel yourself! That way, you can keep your setup looking sharp without spending too much.
It shouldn’t be an issue if the environment isn't too dusty. Plus, it could even help to quiet things down since you might not need the case fans on. I used a setup like that for years without any problems.
As long as you've cleaned up all the shattered glass, go ahead! The airflow might be a bit off, but it won’t hurt to use it without the panel. I did the same for a while, and it was fine.
