Can I Use My Phone as an External Monitor for Another Phone?

I'm curious if there's a way to use my phone as a portable monitor for a newer phone. I know people often use phones as monitors for PCs but is there a method for connecting two phones? I'm looking for something budget-friendly since I can't purchase a separate portable monitor right now—any help would be appreciated!

You could try installing a remote access tool like RustDesk on your computer. If you set it to view-only, you can use your phone as an external monitor. Just keep in mind it works best for PC setups, so you might need some tweaks if you're going for phone-to-phone usage.

For using your phone as a monitor for another phone, unfortunately, not a lot of options exist. Most apps are designed for PC use. One option could be using screen mirroring features if both phones support it, but performance may be hit or miss.

Right? It's mainly for PC setups. I haven’t seen apps specifically for phone-to-phone as external monitors.

I get what you’re looking for! There are some apps out there like Splashtop or PC Remote that work on computers mostly, but they may not be ideal for phone screens. Maybe try looking for apps that offer screen sharing specifically tailored for mobile devices, though results can vary a lot.

Yeah, I’d recommend checking the app store for options that focus on mobile mirroring. It's tricky!
