I'm planning to buy an RX 7900 GRE graphics card, which requires two 8-pin PCIe slots. My power supply has four 6+2 PCIe cables, two of which have pigtails, but I'm planning to use separate cables for the GPU. It seems like it should work fine, but I'm getting some weird feedback from my PC build calculator that says there's a compatibility issue. Can anyone help me out?

Be sure to check your specific PSU model against a tier list. If it's rated B or higher, 700W should be enough. However, I noticed there are some Deepcool 700W models that are rated E, which aren't great for builds. Also, double-check that your cables are indeed 6+2 PCIe and not 4+4 CPU power cables—those are different! By the way, how does the RX 7900 GRE compare price-wise to the 9070 or 9070XT? Is it new or used?
It sounds like your setup should work! What build calculator are you using? I've noticed that some tools can be a bit finicky with readings, especially when they don't have all the specifics. Maybe share what error it shows?
Yeah, if it's in another language, that makes it tough. But if you could share some popular calculator tools, I bet we can find one that works better for your needs!

I'm not really familiar with the rating system where I live, but my model is 80 PLUS Standard, the Deepcool PF700 230V. For the card, I'm looking at a one-year-old 7900 GRE for $700, while used 9070XTs are around $1000 here. I'm aiming for the Sapphire Nitro+ edition!
