Hey everyone! Quick question for you all. I currently have two NVMe M.2 SSDs in my PC. One is the original boot drive that came with the computer, and the other I added about a year ago for games. I'm specifically curious about the SSD that has Windows 10 on it. If I want to install this Windows 10 SSD into a PC that runs on Windows 11, will that work? Do I have to reformat both SSDs, or is it more of a plug-and-play situation? Sorry if this question sounds confusing, and thanks in advance for any help! 🙏

It's pretty much plug-and-play! Just remember to change the boot priority in the BIOS after installing. If you plug in the Windows 11 SSD on a system that previously ran Windows 10, you might run into some issues related to BIOS settings, like TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot compatibility. But swapping it the other way around (Windows 10 on a Windows 11 system) should work without any problems.

Thanks for the info! Quick follow-up: if I have both SSDs installed (the one with Windows 10 and the one with Windows 11), will it default to the Windows 11 SSD for booting? Should I just back up the old SSD data and format it before putting it in the new PC?
