Can I Use Nvidia and AMD Software Together on My PC?

I recently built my PC with a Ryzen 7700 CPU and an RTX 5070 GPU. Out of the blue, it seems like AMD Adrenalin software popped up—I'm guessing Windows might have installed it automatically. Should I be concerned about having both drivers installed, or is it fine to just leave it as is? Should I consider running DDU to remove one?

It's generally fine to have both Nvidia and AMD software on the same system. The AMD software might get disabled if it doesn't detect a compatible card, though. What you’re likely seeing is the AMD chipset drivers being installed, not necessarily a conflict.

If your setup primarily uses the Nvidia card, you could choose to uninstall Adrenalin. It's not necessary unless you’re planning to use the integrated GPU.

Since your Ryzen 7700 has an integrated GPU, it's actually a good idea to keep the AMD drivers. If you run into any issues with the Nvidia drivers and can't access the desktop, you can switch to the iGPU and resolve the problem more easily.
