I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'm hoping this question isn't too silly. I'm looking to set up a PC that will run GS Pro for my golf simulator in the garage. I want to keep the PC in my house to avoid potential damage from Michigan's temperature changes, but I also want to use it for Steam and other things inside.
My question is whether it's possible to have one PC in the house that connects to two different setups: one monitor, keyboard, and mouse in the house and another set in the garage, with long cables running through the ceiling. I plan to connect the garage monitor to a projector for the simulator. Is this a feasible idea, or are there better alternatives?

The distance matters a lot. If you’re looking at about 35 feet, you can use standard HDMI cables, which typically work well under 50 feet. Just make sure to get quality cables to avoid any signal issues! If you need to go longer, though, you'll have to switch to more expensive fiber optic cables.

That’s good to know! I’ll keep the cable length in mind when I set this up.
