Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice on whether it's possible to set my laptop's IP address to be the same type regardless of whether I'm connected to my WiFi or switching to mobile data. My office's dialer team wants to track my connection and insists that I should only be using one IP address throughout the day. If I connect from multiple addresses, they tend to ask a lot of questions about it. At home, I usually use WiFi, but sometimes I have to switch to mobile data when my WiFi acts up. Any suggestions would be really appreciated. Thanks!

One option is to use a VPN that connects to a server with a stable connection. This way, no matter if you're on WiFi or mobile data, your office will only see the VPN's IP address.

That’s interesting! But I have to log into the office via VPN already. Does that change anything in terms of what I should do?
