Hey everyone! I'm looking for some advice about the safety of my new iPhone. Here's what happened: I used a Gmail account on my old Android phone for years, and I think I avoided downloading any suspicious apps, but I can't be entirely sure. Recently, I switched to a brand-new iPhone, using the same email for my Apple ID, changed my password, and set up two-factor authentication (2FA). I didn't transfer any apps or data from the Android; I just restored my WhatsApp chats and logged into Gmail and Google Drive, which only has PDFs, JPGs, MP3s, and Word files—no APKs at all. I'm really careful on my iPhone, not clicking shady links or pop-ups, and steering clear of phishing attempts. I've got a couple of questions: 1. Is there any chance that malware from my old Android phone or my Gmail/Google Drive account could have made its way to my iPhone? 2. Should I worry about any files in my Drive or emails causing issues on iOS? It's been a few months since I switched, and nothing suspicious has happened yet, but I just want to make sure my iPhone is completely clean and secure.

Nah, you should be fine! iPhones and Android use totally different systems, so anything on your old device won't transfer over to your new one. Just keep your phone updated, and you'll be good to go!
You're all set! Just stick to avoiding sketchy links and keep using 2FA along with strong passwords. That’s really all you need to do to stay safe!
Got it! Thanks for the reassurance!
So even if the old one had a virus, it can't hop over to the iPhone?
