I've been having a frustrating issue where my computer seems to be feeding the audio from my videos and games through the microphone. I've tried various drivers from Realtek and AMD, disabled stereo mix, and even used two different audio splitters. I've set up my audio input and output correctly, replaced my headphones, and plugged everything into every port on my motherboard. Despite all these efforts, my friends can still hear the audio from my YouTube videos and games when we chat, which they find quite annoying. I'm starting to wonder if there's something wrong with my Asus Prime B550 Plus motherboard, but I'm not sure what else to check.

If you're using a single cable for both audio and mic, they can share the ground connection, which might cause the mic to pick up system sounds. You might want to check how your audio connections are set up and consider trying a separate mic and headphones if possible.
It sounds like your microphone might be picking up sound from your headphones rather than the computer sending audio through the mic. This could happen if your mic is too sensitive, not directional enough, or if your headphones are leaking sound. Try lowering the volume of your headphones or repositioning the mic to see if that helps.
I disconnected the mic, and the audio is still coming through Discord. I'm using two different adapters, and the problem persists.

What should I do to fix this?
