Hey everyone! I got this awesome PC from a friend last fall, and I've been having a blast gaming on it. However, I'm running into a roadblock because I can't seem to upgrade it to Windows 11. I'm not super tech-savvy, so I'm hoping someone can help! Here's what I know about the PC's specs:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core, 3.60 GHz
- RAM: 16.0 GB
- Storage: 894 GB SSD
- Graphics Card: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 Ti (8 GB)
Is there a chance I can upgrade? I heard something about needing to change the motherboard, but I really don't want to spend a ton of money on new parts. If you need more info, just let me know!

Your CPU looks good for Windows 11! You just need to enable TPM and Secure Boot in your BIOS settings. Once you do that, you should be all set to upgrade! If you're not sure how to get into BIOS, usually, you can do it by pressing a key like F2 or Del right when your PC starts up.
You really don't need the device and product IDs for the upgrade. Just focus on your motherboard. Do you know what motherboard you have? That's usually key for checking compatibility and seeing if you need to upgrade any parts.
I have no idea! Where should I look to find that info?
That's great to hear! How do I check if TPM and Secure Boot are enabled?
