I've just started building PCs this year, but I think I made some mistakes since I'm still a rookie. I'm planning to build another PC that can hopefully run GTA 6 at launch. Do you think the RX 580 will be sufficient for playing at low settings in 1080p, or do I need to look for something better? My budget is pretty tight, around $300.

I doubt the RX 580 will even hit 30fps on low settings at 1080p. It's hard to say what the best budget options will be until the game is out, so maybe hold off for now and check back later for recommendations.
Honestly, expecting the RX 580 to run GTA 6 at low 1080p is a stretch. The card is pretty old and isn't going to handle newer games well, especially with its driver support ending last year. And with a budget of $300, it would be tough to build a whole new PC. You might consider looking at second-hand parts if you’re comfortable with that approach, but I'd suggest waiting for the game to come out before making any decisions.
