Can My Work VPN Track Personal Device Activity on Home Wi-Fi?

I have a work laptop that connects to my home router and then uses a work VPN. I'm curious if my online activities on personal devices, like my phone or laptop, can be tracked by my employer if they're connected to the same Wi-Fi. For example, can they see me watching YouTube on my personal laptop if I'm not connected to the work VPN?

Generally, your work VPN should only track the traffic that goes through it, so anything on your personal devices connected to the same router but not using the VPN shouldn't be visible to your employer. However, it varies by company. In some cases, VPNs can tunnel all your traffic, which might let them see everything. But usually, if you're just on your personal devices, you should be fine.

So just to clarify, as long as I’m not using the VPN on my personal devices, I shouldn’t worry about my YouTube activity being tracked, right?
