I was wondering if intentionally crashing my laptop by opening too many Chrome tabs would result in any permanent damage. I'm using Windows 10, and I'm kind of anxious about experiencing a Blue Screen of Death (BSOD). Is there a chance that this could brick my laptop for good?

Is your Chrome set to reopen previous tabs on startup? That could sometimes cause problems.
Could be a sign of RAM issues if you’re constantly running into BSODs with many tabs open.
If you are facing BSODs, getting dump files can help for a better assessment. If you can boot into Windows or Safe Mode, check C:WindowsMinidump for any crash logs. If present, zip them and upload to a file sharing site. It helps to have multiple dump files for analysis. If you need instructions on setting this up, let me know!
No, I don't think you'll permanently damage your laptop just from opening too many tabs.
Generally, causing a BSOD from just opening too many tabs shouldn't happen. Unless there's an underlying issue with your hardware or Windows itself, when Chrome runs out of memory, it typically just closes itself or other tasks to free up space. So, you should be good! No worries about bricking your laptop just from that alone.

Yeah, definitely try to gather those dump files; they can give insights on what's going wrong!
