Hey everyone,
I need some advice on a situation that's got me a bit worried. I play World of Warcraft on a private server called Warmane, and my brother's PC recently got infected with a virus. I wanted to share my gaming account with him so he could have some fun on my characters, but now I'm concerned about whether this could compromise my PC or any of my other accounts.
Is there a chance that my account or computer could get hacked since my brother's infected PC could access the game with my account? I'm particularly worried because I noticed that my Discord status showed as online even when I wasn't using it, and I had shared my game account password with him once. I know my Discord login is different from my game account, but still, is it safe for me to log in after him? Any insights would be appreciated as I'm not very tech-savvy. Thanks!

You're probably safe. Sharing accounts on different devices generally won't cause issues as long as everything else, like file syncing, isn't involved. Discord statuses can sometimes be misleading too; I've had mine show me active while I was completely offline, so I wouldn't worry too much about that.

But what if I'm logging in to my bank account using the same email and IP as my game account, even with different passwords?
