Can Someone Review My £1970 PC Build for 1440p Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm finally upgrading from my old 1060 build to a new setup and I'd love some feedback. My goal is to game at 1440p with high frame rates and ultra graphics settings for at least the next 6 years. I plan to play various games, including Monster Hunter and heavily modded ones, which is why I've included 64 GB of RAM in the build.

I have a budget of around £2000 to £2300 for the tower, and my current build totals £1970. I'd appreciate it if someone could let me know if I'm overspending or underspending anywhere. Thanks a lot! Here's the link to my build: [https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jkqqyW](https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/jkqqyW)

Pretty good build overall! I think you're maximizing performance for your budget here.

Thanks for taking the time to look it over!

Everything looks great, but I'm curious if the CPU cooler you picked will be enough for the 7800X3D. Just want to make sure it's up for the task.

Everyone else here thinks it should be fine? Not too sure myself.

The only suggestion I have is to consider an AIO CPU cooler. They have a slicker look than traditional coolers. But if aesthetics aren’t your thing, feel free to ignore my suggestion!

Interesting point! Are there any specific AIO coolers that you recommend?

Honestly, this build looks pretty solid! You've got great part selections overall. Since you're within budget, it might be worth considering a higher quality SSD like the Samsung 990 Pro with a DRAM cache to boost your gaming performance. It can really help with load times!

Thanks bro, I'll definitely look into the 990 Pro!

Dram benefits write speeds, but gaming mostly relies on read speeds, so don't expect huge performance boosts just from that.
