I'm putting together my first PC and would appreciate a second opinion on the parts. The build includes an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, Gigabyte X870 Aorus Master ATX AM5 motherboard, 32GB of Corsair Vengeance DDR5-6000, a Radeon RX 9070 XT 16GB, a Samsung 990 EVO Plus 2TB SSD, and a Montech Century II 850W power supply. Does everything look compatible, and is 850W enough for this system?

For a gaming-focused build, the Ryzen 9 9950X3D is more CPU than you generally need, and the motherboard and Samsung SSD are relatively expensive choices. That said, if the CPU, motherboard, and RAM are part of a bundle saving you about $400, the bundle can make the higher-end parts much easier to justify. The 850W power supply should be appropriate for this setup, assuming it’s a good-quality unit.
The main thing I’d double-check is the RAM’s CAS latency. DDR5-6000 is a good speed for AM5, but a lower latency kit—such as CL30 or CL32—is generally preferable if the price difference is reasonable. Aside from that, the component selection looks compatible.
The CPU, motherboard, and RAM are included in a Micro Center bundle that saves roughly $400, so that’s why I went with those parts.
