Hey everyone! I've got an MSI Katana gaming laptop that's about five years old. Lately, it seems to be struggling with even basic games like Red Valor, where I have to set everything to the lowest graphics just to get it to run. On top of that, my game audio and Discord calls sound like they're coming from different rooms. I'm wondering if adding more or better RAM could fix this problem since I'm currently running with only 16GB. What do you think?

Yeah, I'd agree with TechWhiz on this one. Before you think about hardware upgrades, a clean OS install can work wonders. Dust can also block airways and cause overheating, which might be impacting your performance. Try cleaning it out!
Upgrading RAM usually won’t make a big difference for issues like yours. I'd recommend starting with a clean installation of your operating system to see if that helps. Also, don’t forget to check for dust buildup inside your laptop; that can seriously affect performance!
