Can You Help Me Determine If This Gaming PC Will Meet My Needs?

I recently bought a prebuilt gaming PC from Newegg since most of my gaming is done on Xbox, but I play some titles on PC too. The games I enjoy include Age of Empires (all parts), Manor Lords, Arma, Six Days in Fallujah, War of Rights, and other strategy and military simulation games. I'm hoping to play these games at 1440 ultra settings, or even 4K. My specs are:
- Ryzen 5 7600 at 3.8GHz
- RTX 5070 with 12GB
- 1TB Gen 4 NVMe SSD
- 16GB DDR5 RAM at 6000
- 850W power supply
- AMD B650 motherboard with maximum air flow fans (not liquid-cooled).

I'd like to know if this PC is a good choice for my gaming needs and if the motherboard will allow for future upgrades like a better GPU, CPU, or expanding the RAM from 16GB to 32GB. I'm not the most knowledgeable about PC building, as my gaming is mostly on Xbox. Additionally, this PC will serve as a home office, but I'm not too concerned about that side of things. Thanks for your help!

Sounds like a solid build! If you're looking to upgrade, I suggest going for 32GB of RAM (you could get 2x16 and sell your current RAM or add the same two more). Your motherboard supports more RAM, newer GPUs, and even the latest Ryzen processors. Just remember to enable XMP in the BIOS for a speed boost once you get your PC!

I appreciate the tips! I actually searched for a prebuilt with 32GB of RAM, but they all had other upgrades, making them too pricey—I got mine for $1500, while the others were around $2500.

I've got the same motherboard and CPU, and they handle CPU-heavy games really well. I'd recommend investing a bit more in 32GB of RAM though. You'll notice a big difference in performance!

Thanks for the info! Since my PC is already on the way, I probably won't upgrade to 32GB just yet, but I plan on doing it soon. My old setup was an HP Pavilion with a Ryzen 5 3500 and a 1650 Super, plus 8GB of DDR4 RAM that I eventually upgraded to 16GB. It worked fine, but with this new build, I expect 16GB should be enough for now.
