Has anyone had any success using Zscaler as a replacement for their VDI solution? I'm curious about what challenges you've faced in this transition. It seems like it might be a better fit for certain needs, so I'm eager to hear everyone's experiences.

I wouldn't say Zscaler is a direct replacement for VDI; it’s more of a substitute. Most SSE/SASE solutions let you access private resources remotely, which could be a viable option as long as you're okay with a bit more latency than you'd get from a VDI VM located nearby. One of the biggest issues I've run into is with older applications that struggle with latency or aren't compatible with newer operating systems. If latency isn't a dealbreaker for you, I'd suggest testing out a few solutions, not just Zscaler. Cato Networks and Netskope are worth checking out too.
We rolled out Zscaler across our entire organization this year, and honestly, we saw more network latency due to Zscaler's overhead. As a result, we've had to implement more Azure VDI solutions instead of fewer. It’s been a bit of a setback for us.
