I'm having an issue on Windows 11 where an app, Red Dead Redemption 2, is showing up as taking up 199GB of space, but I don't have it installed through Steam. When I try to delete it, I get an error saying "Windows cannot find (file path) make sure you've typed the name correctly then try again." Has anyone experienced this or knows how to fix it?

You might want to try deleting or uninstalling the app through the app manager rather than just the file path. Sometimes apps can have multiple paths where they reside on your system, and manually deleting a folder won't usually do the trick. If you still can't find it, using a tool to analyze folder sizes might help you identify the problem. If it doesn't show up there, it could just be a visual error on your system regarding space usage.
You could also search using the file manager. If you can't find anything, running a space analyzing tool like Space Sniffer might help you locate what's eating up that space. Just keep in mind it's possible that it’s just a UI glitch with Windows.
Check the default installation path for Steam games. They usually sit in Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommon. If it's not there, it might be worth seeing if this is a bug in Windows reporting space incorrectly.
If Red Dead Redemption 2 doesn’t show up when you search for it in the Start menu, try using the Disk Cleanup tool. That might help clear up some of the space you're seeing!
