I'm having a really tough time formatting my SSD. I can clean it using diskpart without any issues, but when I try to create a volume or partition, I keep getting messages saying it has a 'healthy primary partition' or a 'GPT protective partition.' It always fails to format, and I can't seem to find a solution. I've looked everywhere online, but nothing has worked. Any advice would be appreciated!

Have you considered booting into a Linux distribution? Sometimes using a live boot can help with formatting issues. GParted is a great tool for this.
I'm not sure how to do that. Can you give me a quick rundown?
