Can’t Get Linux to Install on My ASUS Vivobook 15

Hey everyone! I'm trying to switch my ASUS Vivobook 15 from Windows 11 to Linux, but I keep hitting a wall during the GRUB installation for different distros. I've attempted to install Ubuntu and Pop!_OS, but though they boot, they report a GRUB installation error. I also tried Linux Mint and Fedora, but those don't boot at all after installation. Currently, I'm trying to get Fedora to work since it's my top choice, but I'm still stuck. Here are some details about my setup: I'm using an Intel i5-1235U, booting in UEFI mode with GPT partitioning. I've already disabled Fast Boot, Secure Boot, and VDM in BIOS, and I've experimented with both automatic and manual partitioning to troubleshoot. Despite all this, the GRUB installation keeps failing. Windows works without any issues, so it seems specific to Linux. I apologize if this is a common problem—I've searched a lot but haven't found a solution that works for me. Any advice would be super appreciated!

I totally understand your frustration! You might want to try using a tool called Boot-Repair. It can help fix GRUB-related issues. Also, make sure your BIOS is updated to the latest version. Sometimes, just installing while your laptop is fully charged and plugged in can make a difference too. If that fails, consider copying the bootloader to a fallback path. Here’s a link to more info on Boot-Repair if that helps!
