I've downloaded Autodesk and Revit files legally through my student license, but I can't open or delete them. I'm really stressed because I have a critique coming up on Monday, and I've tried contacting Autodesk but haven't had any luck. My laptop is a 2022 Lenovo Ideapad 3 running Windows 11, and everything else is functioning fine, including the latest version of Rhino. I have plenty of space on my computer too, so I can't figure out what's going wrong. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this issue?

If your installation keeps failing, try running the installer as an administrator, or check if there are old versions of the software that might be interfering. It could also be a good idea to make sure your Windows is up-to-date. Sometimes, just rebooting your system can resolve these kinds of silly issues too.
It sounds like you're having a frustrating time with Autodesk. Honestly, many users feel that Autodesk has its issues. Do you have any specific error messages when trying to open the files? If possible, share those details! It might help us figure out what's going wrong for you.

Yes! When I try to install, I get an error saying "an error happened during preparation of installation." This occurs for versions from 2023 up to 2027, so it’s not working at all!
