I just bought an iPhone Air from a well-known store, but I'm having trouble purchasing AppleCare for it. I contacted Apple support, and they told me it's strange that I can't access it. They mentioned it should become available within 24 hours. I've always been able to buy AppleCare right away for my previous Apple products, so this is unusual for me. Currently, the only thing showing up for my phone is a 'limited warranty' that lasts until November 2026. Can someone explain what that means? If Apple can't help me, what are my options?

To resolve this, I'd recommend calling Apple again but this time with your purchase receipt from that store. They might need it to correct the purchase date in their system.
It sounds like your warranty only shows as valid until November 2026, which probably means it was registered at the time of purchase in November 2025. Just saying, maybe the store you bought it from isn't as reputable as you thought.
Well, it’s actually one of the top-selling stores in my country. I checked, and the phone was activated when I used it right after buying.
Since you bought it today, you could also consider returning it and getting a new one. That way, you might avoid this AppleCare issue altogether!

Just to clarify, it wasn't a reseller store.
