I just bought an iPhone Air from a reputable store, but I'm having trouble purchasing AppleCare for it. When I contacted Apple, they found it odd that the option isn't available and said it should appear within 24 hours. In all my previous experiences buying Apple products, I was able to get AppleCare right away. Currently, the only thing showing for my phone is a "limited warranty" which lasts until November 2026. Can someone explain what that means? If Apple can't help me, what should I do?

You could try calling Apple again and have your purchase receipt handy. They might need it to adjust the warranty date if there’s a mistake with when it was shown as sold.
Since you just bought it today, I'd suggest talking to the store about a return if the issue persists. Getting AppleCare should be a straightforward process, and if they can't resolve it, make use of your return options.
It sounds like the warranty ending in November 2026 means the phone might have been activated later. Are you sure about the store's reputation? If that date seems off, it's possible there could be issues with how they've registered the sale. You might want to double-check the details on your purchase.
Yeah, sometimes stores mess up the activation date. If you think it’s the store’s fault, definitely keep an eye on it. If you need to, you could always escalate it with Apple again.

Good idea! They might need verification to correct things. Just have all your info ready when you call.
