Anyone in India Successfully Accessed the Claude API via Bedrock?

I'm having a tough time getting access to the Claude API through Bedrock. Every time I try to request access, it's met with an 'INVALID PAYMENT INSTRUMENT' error. I've tried switching billing modes, but nothing seems to help. If anyone from India has successfully navigated this issue, could you please share how you did it? Is there something I need to change, maybe regarding my region?

I’m having the same issue! I've heard that access to certain Bedrock models is tricky right now. I came across a few people mentioning that switching your default payment method from SEPA to a credit card solved the issue for them since AWS Marketplace doesn’t accept SEPA for Bedrock subscriptions. You might want to check if that’s the case for you.

I’m based in the EU too and don’t even have a company credit card. What’s with this constant push for credit cards, anyway?

For me, the fix was making sure my billing address was confirmed. AWS had some old info that didn’t match due to a simple typo. Editing that cleared the issue up, but it was tricky to figure out.

Have you tried creating a support ticket? That sometimes helps get things sorted. Just curious if you’ve had any feedback from them yet.

I have sent in a support ticket, but unfortunately, I haven’t heard back from them.

Hey there! I found this document that outlines some troubleshooting steps for the payment error you’re facing: https://go.aws/41ONvfU. If you still need help, you might want to reach out to AWS via their support form here: http://go.aws/account-support.

I checked, but the payment profile section isn't available to me. I've raised a support ticket, but no response yet. Can we maybe discuss potential solutions here?
