Can’t Use Bluetooth Headphones Due to ‘Setup Blocked by Group Policy’ Error

I need some help figuring out why my Bluetooth (BT) headphones suddenly stopped working. Yesterday, they just stopped transmitting audio, and when I checked the BT settings, it says 'setup blocked by group policy.' I tried connecting a different pair of headphones, but I got the same message. This is on my home-built PC, which has been working fine for the past three years. I've tried a few solutions, including deleting some items in the registry and reinstalling the BT driver, but nothing seems to work. If anyone has any insights or suggestions, I'd really appreciate it!

It could also be an issue with the Bluetooth drivers. Try uninstalling the Bluetooth device from Device Manager and rebooting your PC. This will force Windows to reinstall the driver. If that doesn't help, consider checking for any pending Windows updates as they can sometimes resolve driver-related issues.

It sounds like you might have logged into something using a work or school email recently. That can sometimes apply group policies that block certain functions like Bluetooth. If you haven’t, though, it might be worth checking in your system settings if there's a policy causing this. You could also try booting your PC in Safe Mode to see if that changes anything.
