I'm new to building PCs and I'm trying to figure out which GPU would be suitable for playing games at 4K with 60 FPS. I'm especially interested in more demanding titles like Cyberpunk. Any advice would be appreciated!

If you're trying to save some cash, the 9070 or 5070 are solid choices if you're okay with using upscaling. You can get good performance without breaking the bank.

DLSS can really help too. If you don’t mind compromising on settings, you might even get decent results on the 5050 or 5070. But if you want max performance, you’ll likely need something like the 5090, especially for games with ray tracing.

Right? With DLSS on and ray tracing off, I’m getting smooth 4K gaming with my 4070, but if I crank everything up, it really struggles.

It's all about your settings too. For example, if you want to play Cyberpunk with ultra settings and ray tracing, even the 5090 can struggle without DLSS.

For 4K gaming at 60 FPS, you’ll want to consider GPUs like the 9070XT, 7900 XTX, 4080, or even the latest 5090. However, be aware that hitting 60 FPS can be a challenge, especially with graphics-heavy games unless you use features like upscaling.

Yeah, and if you’re using upscaling, mid-range GPUs like the 9070 or 5070 Ti could also work, but keep an eye on the VRAM as 4K needs a lot more!
