Choosing Between M.2 and 2.5″ SATA SSDs for Storage Expansion

I'm currently using a 2TB Team Group A440 PRO M.2 PCIe SSD and I need more storage. I'm considering adding either a second M.2 SSD ranging from 2TB to 4TB or going with a 2.5" SATA SSD of the same capacity. Right now, I've partitioned my current SSD with 1.6TB dedicated to games and the rest for my OS and programs. What would be the better option for me?

If you've got a spare M.2 slot on your motherboard, I'd say go for another NVMe drive. It'll give you fast speeds and you can keep your games there without any hiccups. Just make sure it fits your budget!

Yeah, I checked and it's populated with my old M.2 NVMe. Should I opt for a slower Crucial or WD Blue drive instead? They're almost the same price for 4TB here in Denmark. Any advice on whether to choose the Crucial P3 Plus or the Western Digital SN5000?
