Choosing Between RX 9060 XT and RX 9070 for My PC Upgrade

I'm thinking about upgrading my PC components before prices go up. Right now, I'm stuck between the RX 9060 XT with 16GB and the RX 9070 with 16GB. My main games are World of Warcraft, Battlefield 6, Helldivers, and Total War: Warhammer, so I'm not playing the most demanding titles, but I'd still like to future-proof my setup a bit. My current specs are: MPG X570 Gaming Plus motherboard, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X CPU, and 32GB of DDR4 RAM (2x 16GB). I'm currently using an RTX 2070 Super (MSI). Userbenchmark suggests my CPU is okay for now, but I plan to upgrade it later. The RX 9070 costs €560 while the RX 9060 XT is at €370. If I go with the 9060 XT, I'll have enough budget left for a Ryzen 7 5800X CPU at €160. I'd love to hear your thoughts!

I'd say go for the RX 9070 and postpone your CPU upgrade for now. Your Ryzen 7 3700X is still solid, and you might benefit more from the better GPU right away. Plus, the 9070 will give you a better performance boost in the long run!

Definitely the RX 9070 between those two. But double-check the prices for the RX 9070 XT as it's often only slightly higher. If you find a good deal, it could be worth grabbing it instead!

What resolution are you gaming at? If it’s 1440p, the RX 9070 might be the better option. For 1080p, the 9060 XT could suffice now, but it’s kind of a long-term investment. Also, steer clear of Userbenchmark for gaming performance as it's not very reliable. It doesn’t accurately reflect gaming needs, especially considering memory bandwidth.

I’m mostly at 1080p right now, but I'm looking to upgrade my monitor down the line. I appreciate the heads-up on Userbenchmark—didn't know that!
