I'm looking for advice on picking a programming course since I have a lot of free time. I've done some computer science in school and know a bit of Python, but I'm feeling stuck about what course to take. An introductory course seems too basic for me, while an intermediate course might be too challenging. I want to create apps and games for personal projects, but I'm not really interested in Python right now. I've checked out some courses like CS50, but they don't appeal to me, and I've tried apps like SoloLearn. I'm searching for a structured learning path that involves learning, testing, and practicing. Can anyone recommend a course or languages to start with?

It's really about what you want to build. If you're not into Python, maybe explore JavaScript for web apps or C# if you're leaning towards game development. Unity uses C#, and it's a fantastic tool for game creation. Just make sure whatever course you choose has a solid hands-on approach!
Why not reconsider Python? It's a great language for beginners and has tons of resources. And about CS50, maybe it feels too broad since it's not just Python—they cover lots of ground. Think about how you like to learn; if you want structured content, maybe look for specific Python project-based courses. They might fit your goal of making apps and games better!
That's a fair point! I just want to hit the ground running without covering too much ground I'm already familiar with. What if I find a Python course that focuses solely on projects?

Thanks, I might give C# a shot since games are my goal! Unity sounds fun.
