I'm trying to decide between the Corsair RM850e and the Thermaltake Toughpower GT 1000W power supplies. The Thermaltake is about 8 euros cheaper, but besides the wattage difference, are there any other key distinctions? Also, will the Thermaltake PSU come with white cables similar to the Corsair?

I picked up the 850e when it was on sale, but I have to say I’m not thrilled with the fan—it tends to be pretty noisy. Just a heads up!
Quick question, is either of these PSUs available in white?
Honestly, I've read that Thermaltake PSUs aren’t as highly rated as the Corsair RM series, which generally has better quality and longevity. The RM850e also comes with a longer warranty—7 years compared to the GT's 5 years. That said, if you need the extra wattage and ports, the Toughpower GT could serve you well. Just keep in mind that the RM850e might be the better long-term investment.

Yeah, both the Corsair and Thermaltake models come in white!
