Hey everyone, I need some advice because I'm really confused and a bit paranoid. I'm a supervisor using an iPhone 13 and recently one of my employees told me he thinks I accidentally shared a really inappropriate note from my Notes app. He deleted it and doesn't want to talk about it, but I haven't used my Notes for anything questionable lately—I mostly have grocery lists. I've checked my iCloud and even looked through deleted notes, but I can't find anything. I'm really worried that someone might have forged a note or made it look like I did something wrong. Is there any way this could happen?

Sounds suspicious to me. Check your text and email history to see if you might have sent anything that could have been misconstrued—especially to that employee. If nothing shows up, I’d recommend contacting HR to document everything. It’s better to be safe and have a record just in case someone is trying to mess with you.
I have a similar story! My girlfriend once thought I was hiding a note, but I never found it either. It’s really strange how sometimes these apps work. This makes me wonder if there's a bug or something in the Notes app. Just stay on top of this situation—it’s tricky.
If you don’t actually have any inappropriate notes, you might want to just remain firm and suggest your employee talk to HR. It sounds like they might be trying to pull something on you. Don’t let it shake your confidence—you know you haven’t done anything wrong.
I think you might be getting gaslighted here. It's a bit odd that your employee deleted the note and doesn’t want to discuss it anymore. Make sure to check if there’s any chance this was a phishing attempt, though it sounds more like a bizarre situation between you and the employee.
It’s definitely him reaching out about it. This isn’t a behavior I would expect from him, so this whole thing is just confusing.
If the note was deleted, there should still be a log of it somewhere. Check your sharing history. If you didn't send anything inappropriate, it might be a prank. Consider reporting this to HR to protect yourself in case something more serious is happening.
It’s possible that someone is causing this miscommunication on purpose. Has anyone else been acting weird around you, or do you think someone could have renamed their device to your name? Double-check how your notes are being sent!

Yeah, I get it. It’s just tough because I want to show that I'm reliable and not a messy person. Plus, this employee seems really affected by whatever he saw...
