I recently switched from Intel to AMD, moving from an i7-12700K to the 9800X3D. I'm finding that my CPU temperatures and usage are fluctuating quite a bit. For example, when I launch Fortnite, the CPU usage hits 100%, causing temperatures to rise into the mid-80s. Additionally, my idle temps are around 60°C with 30% usage, whereas my Intel would idle at 40-45°C with only about 7% usage. Am I doing something wrong, or is this behavior normal for AMD CPUs?

First off, did you apply the thermal paste correctly and ensure your cooler is mounted properly? What cooler are you using? Also, check your case's airflow; that could be affecting your temps too. I've seen some setups struggle if they're not optimized for cooling!

I have the Thermalright Wonder Vision 360 cooler, and I've made sure the thermal paste is evenly spread. This is my first time using a pull configuration with the AIO cooler mounted at the front—could that be part of the issue?
