I recently installed a new NVIDIA GPU and everything seems fine since I switched from one NVIDIA card to another without any major issues. However, I'd like to use Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) just to be sure everything is clean. I've come across various instructions online and want to confirm if my steps are correct:
1. Download and extract DDU.
2. Download the latest GPU drivers and save them on my desktop.
3. Disconnect my internet connection.
4. Boot into safe mode.
5. Open DDU.
6. Uncheck the Windows Updates option in DDU.
7. Run DDU.
8. Restart my PC in normal mode and install the drivers I saved on my desktop.
Can anyone confirm if these steps look good or provide any corrections?

If you're unsure about the steps, just check out some tutorials on YouTube. They're super helpful for visual guidance!
You probably don’t need to disconnect the internet or uncheck the Windows Updates in DDU. Those steps are more about preventing Windows from grabbing any unwanted drivers, but if you’re just switching NVIDIA cards, you should be fine.
From what I’ve read, disconnecting the internet does help avoid issues with Windows auto-downloading drivers that could mess with your new GPU performance. It’s just a precaution to keep everything stable.
If you've followed tutorials successfully before, what’s the need for corrections? Just stick to what works for you!
The tutorials I found had different steps, so I just wanted to verify which ones are absolutely necessary.
I’ve actually watched a ton of videos already, but they all differ a bit. Just looking for some specific clarifications here.
