I'm building a high-end PC but I'm a bit lost when it comes to SSDs. I've never used an SSD before, and I'm trying to figure out if I should go for one NVMe and one regular SSD, or if there's a better option out there. I'd love to hear what you guys have chosen for your builds and if you're happy with your choices!

Depends on what you're doing with your PC. For gaming and general use, NVMe is the way to go, specifically Gen 4 right now. Gen 5 is faster but way pricier. Also, be mindful of your motherboard's compatibility with these drives, as too many can slow things down.
Honestly, you really just need one NVMe SSD. Most motherboards have multiple slots for them, and at this point, they’re priced similar to SATA drives. I’ve got two myself, a 2TB and a 4TB NVMe, and it’s more than enough for my games and apps! Keep an eye out for sales, and you might snag a good deal on larger models.
If budget isn’t an issue, the Samsung 990 Pro is top-notch. For a mid-range option, check out the Samsung 980 Evo or Crucial P5 Plus. But honestly, unless you’re doing intensive tasks like video editing, you probably won’t notice much difference between a budget and a high-end drive.
These days, there's really no reason to go for anything other than NVMe SSDs for personal computers. Just grab one NVMe SSD in the size you need, and you’ll be good to go!
That's true! But if you're looking at mass storage, a basic HDD could be more cost-effective for that. It's unbeatable when it comes to price per terabyte, so use an NVMe for your gaming and an HDD for your other files.
NVMe drives are way faster than SATA SSDs. If you're considering a SATA for storage, just skip it and get an HDD instead. Personally, I find NVMe + HDD to be a solid combo and keeps my system running smooth.
I think for gaming, especially with large games, you should go for at least a 2TB NVMe. Otherwise, you might run out of space pretty fast!
