Hey everyone! I'm looking at buying a brand new 9070XT from a seller on OLX (kind of like the Eastern European version of eBay). The seller is a 50-year-old woman, and she showed me the GPU over video. The box is unsealed, but the GPU itself is still in its antistatic packaging with all the seals intact. She explained that it was a gift for her nephew, but after consulting with a PC repair shop, they found out their power supply wasn't good enough for it. They ended up buying a different GPU for him and are now selling this one for $630, which is a pretty good deal considering the market price is around $815. The card looks unused, and I even asked for a detailed video. Should I go for it?

I wouldn’t go for it. OLX can be a breeding ground for scams, and the whole story seems a bit fishy. I'd be particularly worried that the GPU could have been purchased with a stolen credit card or something like that. If you’re still tempted, see if it comes with a store warranty. If not, I’d suggest walking away from the deal completely.
They mentioned they don't have the receipt anymore, which could explain the lower price. I’ve ordered through the platform, so I can check the GPU for a few minutes before paying and refuse it if something feels off. But yeah, I know warranty won’t transfer since it’s an XFX card.
