Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my PC but I'm uncertain whether to stick with AM4 or make the jump to AM5. My budget is around €300, but I'm open to seeing options that might cost a bit more. Here's what I'm currently working with:
- Motherboard: ASRock B450 Pro4 R2.0 (B450 chipset)
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600 (6-core/12-thread)
- CPU Cooler: Thermalright Phantom Spirit 120SE
- GPU: Sapphire Pulse AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT 16GB GDDR6
- RAM: 16GB Corsair Vengeance 3200 MHz DDR4 (2x8)
- PSU: Corsair RM850e
- Storage: 2TB NVME, 1TB HDD, 250GB SATA drive
I don't need new peripherals, case, or fans as they're all brand new and working well. I primarily use my PC for gaming, and since I'm in France, finding parts won't be an issue. Any advice on how to approach this upgrade?

With your budget, upgrading your RAM is probably the best move. You might be able to snag a 32GB DDR4 kit for around that price. Having that extra memory can really improve your gaming experience!

I've seen some 2x8 DDR4 kits on Vinted for about €70. Do you think running two sets of 2x8 would be okay?
