I recently had a friend add two extra RAM sticks to my computer, bringing the total to four. Ever since the upgrade, my speakers have stopped working completely; the speaker lights don't even turn on, and it seems like the system can't detect them at all. All the RAM sticks are identical, so I'm not sure what the issue might be. Can anyone help with this?

It usually shouldn't affect your speakers. First, I recommend testing your speakers on another device to see if they're functioning correctly. By the way, what CPU are you using? Also, make sure the RAM is running at its rated XMP or EXPO speed. That could be an important factor too.

So, I tried my speakers on my Steam Deck and laptop, and they're not working there either. I have an Intel Core i5 11400F, but I'm still having trouble with other speakers, both Bluetooth and AUX.
