Hey everyone, I have a bit of a silly question. I accidentally connected two batteries to my keyboard while it was plugged into my PC, which was powered on and in use at the time. I'm concerned this could have harmed my PC hardware. If there was any voltage created by the batteries passing through the keyboard and into the PC, how could I figure out if there was any damage? Just a heads up, English isn't my first language, so I appreciate your patience!

Don't worry too much, dude. The chances of damaging your PC just from a battery connected to the keyboard are slim. Just keep an eye on the functionality of your keyboard and PC. If they work, you’re likely good!
Nah, you're probably fine! Modern PC hardware is pretty resistant to stuff like that. Unless you literally discharged a battery onto exposed metal, it shouldn't have caused any issues.
It's really not about magnetism. The concern is more about any voltage from the batteries traveling through your keyboard to the PC. But chances are, if everything seems to be working fine, you're in the clear!
