Could My Motherboard Be Dead After Changing RAM?

I recently swapped out my RAM on an Asus B550M Gaming WiFi 2 motherboard. I replaced two 8GB sticks running at 3600MHz with two 16GB sticks at 3200MHz. After making the change, my PC wouldn't even boot into the BIOS—the DRAM light stays on. I tried to revert back to the original RAM, but it still won't POST and the boot light is on. I've done everything I can think of: tested each RAM stick individually, cleared the CMOS multiple times, flashed the BIOS to the latest version, and completely disassembled and reassembled the PC. I've been building PCs for over 20 years, and I've never encountered a problem like this—it's as if the motherboard is bricked after such a simple swap. Does anyone have experience with this motherboard or any suggestions?

There are a few things you can try since this could be a RAM learning issue that takes longer than usual. After you swap the RAM, sometimes it needs extra time to adjust. So, when you power on the PC, give it about 10 minutes. If it still fails to boot, re-seat the CPU and try booting with just one RAM stick at a time. If that doesn’t help, you could try reverting to an older BIOS version; it might work. It’s frustrating for sure, but hang in there! Let me know if you need more help with it.

I haven't actually tried an older BIOS yet. I find it strange that a perfectly fine PC could fail from such a small change. Even going back to the original RAM, it's still not booting. This is definitely a first for me!
