Could My Motherboard Be Failing Already?

I built a new PC around May or June with an ASRock A620i motherboard, a Ryzen 7700 CPU, and an AMD 9070XT GPU. Recently, the PC started acting up—sometimes it won't POST when I turn it on or wake it from sleep. After some trial and error, I noticed my second monitor wasn't working, and my GPU wasn't recognized in AMD Adrenalin. Now, the situation has escalated: the PC only posts about 1 out of 10 times despite the fans running. I suspected the GPU at first, but I tested it in another PC and it worked fine. I also tried various cables and even connected the HDMI directly to the motherboard, but only got a single POST after many attempts, then the screen went green afterwards. I'm really starting to think the motherboard is the problem. What should I troubleshoot next?

When you tried plugging in the 2070, was it still in the case, or did you take it out? That could make a difference.

I tried both ways, with and without the riser, and it didn’t POST either time. But both GPUs work fine in another PC.

Have you checked if your motherboard is running on the latest BIOS version? The current version is 3.40, and you might need that update for compatibility.

I’m not sure—I can't get it to POST anymore to check the BIOS!
