Could My Neighbors Be Controlling My iPhone?

I've been having serious issues with noise from my neighbors that keeps me awake all night since I work early in the morning. Lately, I've noticed strange things like audio rerouting and my phone seeming to be remote-controlled. I can even hear static and background voices on other devices around me, not just my iPhone. It's really unnerving, especially since I still hear these sounds even when I'm far away from home. I've tried everything—putting my phone on airplane mode, turning off the line, Bluetooth, AirPlay, and WiFi, and even shutting my phone off completely, but the RF interference continues. I've even turned the power off in my apartment, and still, I hear the nonsense through my TV, phone, and speakers. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this? Is it a bug, or could it be something like RF/EMI? Any advice on how to tackle this would be greatly appreciated.

It sounds like you might be dealing with either a carrier network issue or a problem with your phone's hardware. Here are a few things you can try:
1. Reboot your phone to reset any bad channel locks.
2. Check if the issue persists with a different SIM card or phone—this can help determine if it's the line or the device.
3. Pay attention to where the problems happen; if they're always in the same spot, that could point to an issue with a nearby cell tower.
4. Contact your carrier for support; they might be able to reset your network settings. I've seen this a couple of times, but it's pretty rare. Good luck!

Those are some solid troubleshooting steps! Definitely worth checking out the carrier, I had a similar issue last year and found out it was a network glitch.

Honestly, it’s hard to believe that your neighbors would have the ability to hack into your iPhone just because of a noise dispute. More likely, you might be dealing with something else entirely. It might be best to seek professional help. Also, noise can sometimes seem like it’s from a device when it's actually just environmental.

I'm really sorry to hear you're going through this. It might be worth checking if things like your neighbors are actually making those noises. Maybe you're experiencing some kind of auditory illusion? Getting advice from a professional could really help clarify what's going on. You’re not alone in experiencing strange noises; many people have gone through similar issues.
