Could My New PC Be Fried? Help Needed!

I just built my PC and was using it without issues for a day until I noticed the GPU light flickering on and off, which caused Windows to disable it. I tried reinstalling the drivers and updating the motherboard, but I keep getting error codes 43 and 31. This morning, when I attempted to turn it on with the monitor connected to the GPU, nothing happened. Switching to the motherboard also yielded no signal. I've checked all the cables to make sure they're secure, and I've removed and reinstalled the GPU, but I'm still at a loss. The lights on the PC turn on initially, but they shut off after the third boot indicator. I'm really worried about damaging something further if I keep trying. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? Thanks for your help!

It sounds like you might have a few things going on. Since it’s a new build, if you’re under warranty, I’d recommend contacting support. If you’re not, you could try switching your GPU to a different PCIe slot and see if that helps. Also, check your PSU's wattage; a 650W should be fine for most setups, but if your GPU pulls a lot of power or if it’s an older model, it might be worth checking. Plus, if the GPU was covered in dust, that might have some impact on performance, especially if it was overheating.

Yeah, definitely check if it has enough thermal paste and if there are any dust build-ups. The old RX580 might be struggling if it hasn't been cleaned properly!
