I'm having a weird issue with my PC after I replaced my keyboard and mouse under warranty. Ever since then, my computer refuses to shut down or go to sleep. Even when I issue a shutdown command or press the power button, the fans continue to run. I had to unplug the power cord to turn it off, which seems pretty sketchy. Could this be a sign that my PC is hacked, or is there something else going on?

It sounds like you might be jumping to the hacking conclusion too quickly. There could be lots of reasons why your PC won't shut down, like issues with drivers or power management settings. Have you checked your device manager to see if everything is functioning properly?
I really doubt you’re hacked. It might help to go into the device manager under your new mouse and keyboard settings, find the power management options, and uncheck the 'allow this device to wake the computer' box. Also, double-check your power options to ensure everything's set right. If that doesn't work, consider diving into your BIOS settings for more power options.
You can try a couple of things to resolve this. If pressing the power button doesn't work, holding it down for about 10 seconds usually does the trick. If that fails, just unplugging it (which you've already done) is the last resort. Hope this helps!
Yeah, I’ve tried all these methods but nothing seems to fix the issue.
It sounds like there might be other underlying issues. Check if you have fast startup enabled in your BIOS/UEFI settings, and ensure all your drivers are up to date. It’s also possible that something with the RGB header or even your power supply could be causing these problems. Hacking is pretty unlikely here, though!
Wait, what do you mean by CPU power button? CPUs don’t have their own power buttons, that’s just the case’s power button you're talking about!
Haha, I meant the power button on my case! Here’s a picture just to clarify.

I didn’t think of that! I’ll check the device manager when I get the chance.
