I've been using my new PC for about 5 months and I'm starting to wonder if my RAM configuration might be leading to some instability or minor stuttering in games. Here's the scoop: I'm running an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D with 4x16GB of G.Skill Trident Z Neo RGB DDR5-6400 CL30 installed, paired with a Radeon RX 9070 XT.
When I built this system, I figured that having 64GB of RAM running at 6400MHz would enhance my gaming experience, but I've been experiencing occasional stutters in titles like A Plague Tale: Requiem, even on medium to ultra settings.
I tried undervolting the GPU to save power and boost performance, but it caused crashes in multiple games, so I restored everything to the default settings.
I've read that using 4 sticks of RAM at this speed on Ryzen can be problematic, and people suggest dropping to 6000MHz for better stability. Do you think my RAM speed could be the culprit behind the stutters, or is this pretty common behavior? I would love to hear your insights before I start tweaking BIOS settings further.

First, it's worth checking if your RAM is actually running at the stated 6400MHz speed. That can be tough to achieve, especially with 4 sticks installed. Many systems scale down the speed when all DIMM slots are occupied.

I just checked, and Task Manager indicates it's running at 3600 MT/s despite using all 4 slots.
