Hey everyone! I'm having some issues with my PC that I'm hoping to get some insights on. Recently, my computer has been freezing while playing games like Fortnite, and it seems like the more intensive the game gets, the more likely I am to run into problems. When the game freezes, my browser starts freezing too, although the sound keeps going. This leads to an error screen, and I end up having to unplug my computer to restart it.
I thought it might be a software problem, so I did a clean install of Windows, but at first, I mistakenly installed it on my HDD instead of my SSD. Once I corrected that, performance improved, but I still encountered the freezes while playing with my browser open in performance mode.
Additionally, after restarting, I sometimes get a black screen where my keyboard doesn't light up, which didn't happen when Windows was on the HDD. This issue seems to be tied to the SSD since it doesn't occur otherwise. My SSD is a year old XPG AGAMMIXS70B-1T-CS PCIe Gen4x4 M.2 2280, and I'm not entirely sure what's wrong. I ran a basic command prompt scan but it didn't show any errors. Any thoughts on whether there's something specifically wrong with my SSD? What should I do next?

If you have access to another M.2 slot, it might be worth trying to move your SSD there. Sometimes, the slots themselves can have issues. If that doesn't help, and the SSD is still under warranty, consider reaching out to the manufacturer for support or even a replacement. It's better to check all possibilities!
It sounds like your SSD could be the culprit, especially since those freezes and black screens only started happening after you switched to it. Have you tried running the chkdsk command? Sometimes, it helps detect issues that might not show up right away. Also, it could be a Windows 11 update causing problems too. Keep an eye on any updates or patches!

I ran chkdsk already, but nothing came up, so I’m not sure what else to check.
