Could Resetting My PC Fix Potential Issues After Allowing an App Access to PowerShell?

I recently downloaded an app and didn't fully understand what PowerShell does, so I accidentally gave the app permission to access it. Now that I realize this could be risky, I'm worried I might have been hacked. If I reset my PC, will that solve the problem?

It sounds like you might be overthinking it a bit. If you deleted the app and you're not running anything sketchy, you should be fine. Just be cautious in the future about what you approve. If you're really worried, resetting your PC can help, but make sure to back up important files first!

Totally agree! Backups are key. Also, run a malware scan just to be safe.

Honestly, your post is a bit hard to follow. I'm curious about what you mean by the app accessing PowerShell. Did it ask for admin permissions? Make sure you understand prompts like that before agreeing to anything.

Yeah, I mean like when you click on an app, the pop-up asks for admin rights, and I just clicked yes without reading.
